Thailand Dive & Sail was established in 2007 by a group of diving fanatics with over ten years of experience working in various locations in the Andaman Sea, including the Similan Islands, Burma's Mergui Archipelago and India's Andaman Islands. As diving instructors, we have certified hundreds of students and still dive every day when the seasons allow. The company directors are also considered the current top source of diving and local information regarding Burma's Mergui Archipelago.
The continuous development of www.thailanddiveandsail.com is our long-term endeavor to contribute our firsthand knowledge and experience back into the diving and sailing community. We provide a total solution for visitors wishing to get the most out of their marine adventures within our chosen area of expertise, as well helpful tips, information and current news, and the opportunity to support local projects.
Fun4Kids is a non-profit volunteer project established by Steve Lowe in Khao Lak after his own experience as a 2004 tsunami survivor and private volunteer in the ensuing aftermath. Recognizing the longterm necessity in the community for the support of educational facilities and orphanages, Fun4Kids helps to enrich the lives of local children growing up in needy circumstances. Funded entirely by private and commercial donors, and possible only with generous gift of time of hundreds of donors over the years, Fun4Kids builds playgrounds, donates books and learning materials, teaches English and provides maintenance of school buildings and facilities in the local area.
One of the primary goals of Thailand Dive & Sail is to support the positive sustainability of the local community which has become our home. Five percent of all proceeds generated by the booking services offered on our website will be donated to Fun4Kids, directly, without red tape or bureaucracy. Your help ensures that the children of our community have a brighter today and a healthy future.

back to topCommUnity Crafts is a craft shop set up specifically for community craft projects around Phang Nga. It is entirely non-profit, with all proceeds going into worthwhile charities, groups and projects. The aim of the project is to give people an opportunity and a location to sell their products. Most of the groups represented in the shop were formed to give people an income after the tsunami, some of them are orphanages trying to become self-sustainable and there are one or two organizations selling produce to either fundraise for their ongoing projects or to teach more isolated communities a trade and how to sell and market it.

back to top"Ric and Clive are the real deal. They're dive masters that have worked together on the same boat for 7 years. A rare treat in a business where the typical guide is traveling through during or after uni for 1-2 seasons. After so many years, it is clear they like each other and work well together which creates a really fun and great atmosphere on their boats. In my mind, critical for a great liveaboard experience. They love to dive and want to have the best dive every dive. Since they're still guiding on boats, they know what's going on day by day and where the best spots are. On my liveaboard trip to Mynamar and Thailand, they constantly discussed the conditions and adjusted the schedule for the best spots for conditions. If all the other boats typically dive a spot in the morning, they'll come in the afternoon and go somewhere else in the morning to avoid diving with the dozen other boats. This was more the case in Thailand than in Mynamar where it was just us and the occasional sea gypsie. Myamar is fairly virgin diving territory and having a good guide is critical. They've been running up into the arcipelago for 7 years, one of the longest I imagine. They're still finding new sites out there sharing these rare gems with their customers! "
